Eligible for: Half the total cost of the charter

Processing Time: 7-10 business days

Processing Fee: £25 deducted from refund total

Conditions: Valid justification necessary; administrative fees applicable

Less than 24 Hours Before Charter

No Refund

Eligible for: No refund potential

Exception: Critical circumstances taken into account

Alternative: Company may offer a credit for future charters at their discretion

Conditions: Proof required for emergency claims

Weather-Related Cancellations

Our Weather Guarantee

Safety is our top priority. In the event of inclement weather conditions deemed dangerous by our certified captain, we offer several options:

  • Full Refund: Offered if the charter cannot be rescheduled
  • Reschedule: Change your charter date with no extra fee
  • Charter Credit: A voucher valid for one year from the original charter date

Weather Assessment Process

Our process for evaluating weather involves:

  • Evaluation of wind velocity and trajectory
  • Survey of wave proportions and ocean conditions
  • Forecasts for visibility and precipitation levels
  • Coast Guard advisories and alerts
  • Pilot's expert safety assessment

Decision Timeline: Decisions regarding weather cancellations will be communicated at least 4 hours prior to the scheduled departure.

Medical Emergency Refunds

Emergency Circumstances

Medical emergencies are understood to occasionally arise. The scenarios below are eligible for special refund consideration:

  • Unexpected illness or injury that leads to hospitalization
  • Passing of a family member
  • Unexpected military duty or recall
  • Court obligations such as jury service or subpoenas
  • Travel disruptions due to natural disasters

Documentation Requirements

For requests regarding medical emergency refunds, provide the following:

  • A hospital statement or medical certificate
  • Death notification (if relevant)
  • Official military commands
  • Notice of court summons or jury duty
  • Travel warnings or declarations of emergency

Processing: Refunds for emergencies are managed within 3-5 working days after the required documents are obtained.

Operational Cancellations

Mechanical Issues

In the situation where there are mechanical issues with the reserved yacht that is unable to be fixed:

  • Alternative Vessel: A similar vessel will be provided if feasible
  • Full Refund: If no appropriate replacement can be found
  • Partial Refund: If the replacement vessel is priced differently
  • Compensation: Consideration for inconvenience may be given

Crew Unavailability

In the uncommon event that a qualified crew is unavailable:

  • Efforts will be made to arrange a substitute crew
  • Complete refund will be offered if the charter cannot proceed
  • Option to reschedule without incurring more costs

  • Cash/Cheque: 3-5 business days

Charter Credits

Credit Terms

  • Validity: Valid for 12 months from the time of issuance
  • Transferability: Non-transferable to other individuals
  • Value: Equivalent to the full price of the charter (exempts handling fees)
  • Usage: Applicable for any available yacht charter
  • Expiration: No extension past the 12-month period

Partial Service Refunds

Service Interruptions

In the event that your yacht trip is disrupted or abbreviated due to our oversight:

  • Proportional refund based on the part of service not used
  • A credit identical to the remaining charter value for future use
  • Added perks or enhancements offered complimentary

Guest-Related Interruptions

If a charter concludes prematurely due to the behavior or safety infractions by the guests:

  • No return for the portion left unused
  • The entire charter fee is still required
  • Potential extra fees applicable

Dispute Resolution

Should you challenge a refund verdict, the following actions are feasible:

  • Appeal for a reassessment by our administrative team
  • Submit further evidence or documents
  • Engage with consumer advocacy agencies
  • Seek legal alternatives in line with the current laws

  • Purchase of travel insurance is highly recommended
  • This policy may be revised with a forewarning of 30 days
